Beyond the elimination of tooling expenses, there are additional benefits associated with scarf joined and vulcanised rings, namely the absence of any excess material on the ring’s surface.
Critical to the excellence of this product is the specific cord employed in crafting the rings. The cords utilised in our scarf joined and vulcanised rings are manufactured through laser-controlled extrusion lines. This manufacturing process ensures that cross sections up to 6.35mm adhere to the DIN7715 E1 standard, and for dimensions surpassing this, they conform to E2 tolerances.
The method employed to rejoin the rings holds significant importance. Rigorous quality control procedures ensure that the resulting joint is frequently at least 90% as robust as the cord itself.
